JC's British 4x4 asked Monty and I to be in the Denver St. Patrick's day parade this year; of course I said yes! I mean, how totally fun!
I haven't been to that many parades in my life. My grandfather always drove his 1951 kit car Mercedes in the 4th of July parade in the small town my family lived in in California- Crestline/Lake Arrowhead- and all of us cousins got to ride in the back. But that was about it for my knowledge of parades.
We decked Monty and the kids out in everything green and shiny that I could find and headed downtown! As we assembled in line and slowly creeped toward the start of the parade we could hear people cheering!
My two preschoolers were so excited to wave at all "their" adoring fans! It was such a fun experience! Feeling the great vibes of everyone that is just there to have a great time makes it just that much better.
