Overland Expo West 2019

As much as I love camping hundreds of miles off the beaten path, I also love the energy and excitement that the Overland Expo brings. We really just drove down to Flagstaff for one full day, which meant I didn't cover nearly everything the Expo had to offer, but it was great to catch up with friends from around the country and see some awesome rigs! I plan to make a weekend out of it next year and get the full experience.

Before leaving town, we hit up one of my favorite four-wheeling spots, Cinders, just north of Flagstaff. Driving on extinct volcanos just sounds cool! But is also great practice for the sand dunes driving in the Rebelle Rally. I was being lazy and didn't air down since we were about to hit the road and Monty handled the lava rock like a champ!

Above- a few of my favorite rigs from the expo, the Ladies Offroad Network Group, me REALLY sunburnt! and some awesome dinosaur footprints in Tuba, AZ.
